Dr. Beverly Weithman-Posey

(Orthopedic Clinical Specialist)

Dr. Beverly, PT, DPT, OCS, MS, is a California-licensed Physical Therapist who strives for excellence as a clinician, which is demonstrated by her extensive educational background, her specialization in outpatient orthopedics, and her recent endeavor to step into an adjunct faculty position at The University of Southern California. She graduated from Ohio University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and traveled across the country to start her career in California. Over the years, she’s had the opportunity to work in a variety of outpatient physical therapy clinics ranging from small rural PT-owned locations to large urban, nationwide companies. In that time, she has worked with many different patient populations with orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, industrial, and sports injuries.

After a few years in practice, Dr. Beverly elected to advance her education again by enrolling and graduating from The University of Southern California’s Biokinesiology Master’s Program, where she had the opportunity to expand her understanding and view of the body and its movement and co-author a publication. Her recent career advancement was attaining her American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS). She has also been a consistent member of the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Dr. Beverly’s extensive background in assessing and treating musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, aided by her experience in multiple clinics with a variety of patient populations, and an evidence-driven treatment approach, has led to many patient success stories.

As a new resident of the area, she enjoys adventuring in the outdoors with her husband and pups, as well as trying new restaurants. She’s an avid Ohio State Football fan, and you’ll find her cheering them on every Saturday of the season.
