When I came in back on February 13, 2019, I was walking with a cane. I had a tremendous amount of pain and stiffness in my left knee. I tore my meniscus when hiking down a hill back in 2004 and had surgery to repair it that same year. For about ten years –no problems. Then arthritis set in and I started having pain and tightness. Recently, I was working full time and taking courses that required a lot of sitting. Hence my leg muscles atrophied cause more weight (and yes, weight gain from stress and wrong food choices) to press down on the knee. It basically crippled my ability to move without assistance. Since coming back to Power Physical Therapy, this is my second tour of duty here, I am able now to walk without a cane and feel the strength and stability returning. I have a three week trip to Great Britain in four months and know that I can have the flexibility and strength for all the walking and stair climbing I will be doing. YOU GUYS ROCK!! Thank you for getting me back on my feet!
